Youngest Ever WSU Graduate Credits Home School
Most 16-year-olds are barely getting their drivers' licenses, but Kayla Heard is about to graduate from Washington State University and go on to law school. Heard told KIRO Radio's Dori Monson Show on Friday she graduated high school at the age of 10. She attributes much of her success to being home-schooled and then taking online courses through WSU.
According to WSU, Heard has always been ahead of her peers; she began reading at only 18-months. She started first grade at 3-years-old and wrote in cursive at four.
