FREE online courses from Stanford University

Stanford and MIT are offering more and more free online courses. MIT is working on creating an accrediting school underneath their umbrella, so course credit could be given. I’ll try to post when they announce.

Here is an exciting lineup of non-credit courses from Stanford. While they are noncredit, they will still provide an incredible learning experience, and look great on a high school transcript.

Click on the icon and you’ll see a course description and a sample video clip. All you need to enroll is the student name and eMail address – that’s it!

And all are college level, non-credit, and free. They seem to have very little or no prerequisites.

I’m seriously thinking of enrolling in Complex Systems: Model Thinking. Yippee! I get to feed my own brain for a change.
