Homeschool Graduation Information

I received this from another group and thought it may be interesting for this group. Not sure if there's anything like this closer but it may work for our high schoolers graduating soon or in a few years. Something to consider at least.

A few homeschool graduations in the Dallas area.

Some of the coops and honor societies do their own graduations. Check with groups in your area, many have application deadlines. Some homeschool groups do hold graduations, but they don't let anyone outside their group know about it.

NTHEN's 2012 GRADUATION and COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES

If you have a student that you wish to be part of our Graduating Class of 2012 on May 26, download our 2012 GRADUATION PACKET, complete the information required, sign and send a copy of your completed form and your payment to NTHEN at the address shown in the Graduation Packet.

Once your contract and payment are received, you will receive an email acknowledgement and a password. The password is for your graduate (who will undoubtedly want to be included in the activities and events planned for graduating seniors) to use to get connected with others that will be graduating in our 2012 ceremony. Your graduate will simply click the "Activities" button below, enter the password and provide the requested information. They will be contacted by the 2012 graduating seniors Activity Coordinator via email with information about planned events. NOTE: This feature will be activated after the September 2011 initial Graduation meeting and after the 2012 Activities Coordinatior has been selected.

Dallas Homeschoolers Graduation info

HEAD Graduation is:
Formal - A formal ceremony following the tradition of public or private school commencement services. The ceremony typically lasts approximately 1 to 1 & ½ hours, depending on the number of graduates, and will follow this general outline.
•Graduates enter to Pomp & Circumstance
•Welcome & Prayer
•Guest Speaker
•Power Point Presentation
•Presentation of Diplomas
•Closing Prayer
•Graduates Exit
•Reception
